To the People of the United States of America: Our country is in a crisis. Everyday more of our freedoms disappear. Watching the news is appalling and depressing. Political parties mean little as politicians on all sides abuse power. The people are apathetic towards politics and government. It is time to decide if we will accept the Constitution or if we will sacrifice the American dream for personal comfort.  The biggest question that most American’s face in contemplating the Constitution is whether or not it applies to our time. The answer is a resounding yes. The Constitution was built upon principles; principles that never change. It was structured to work with and combat human nature with many different tools. Hello Guardians! It's been a year and a half since I started this blog and well....obviously I haven't done a very good job at keeping it up. It was recently brought to my attention that I need to refocus on the reason I am passionate about my country and work on my blog again! To launch this I've started what I'm calling the Federalist Project. After the Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787 there were massive debates among the 13 states about whether or not to ratify the constitution. Two political parties ended up being the main voices for or against the Constitution. They were the Federalists and the Anti-federalists respectively. In response to many lingering questions and doubts regarding the Constitution, Federalists James Madison, John Jay, and Alexander Hamilton wrote 85 articles published in newspapers around the country to teach and convince people of the importance and value of establishing the Constitution as the supreme law of the land.
